The Whittley Club NSW embarked on an exciting new adventure along the Murray River, cruising from Renmark to Morgan in South Australia. This unique route, never explored by the club before, combined natural beauty with navigation challenges. The journey featured winding river bends, calm stretches, and stunning sandstone cliffs, along with abundant birdlife. Participants also passed through charming river towns, each reflecting the region’s rich history. In addition to the boating, a long road trip to the launch point built anticipation for the trip ahead. While the navigation challenges kept everyone engaged, the experience offered the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, leaving lasting memories and marking a new chapter in the club’s history.

Mallacoota, nestled in Victoria’s East Gippsland region within Croajingolong National Park, offers a stunning and peaceful boating destination. The Mallacoota Inlet, Bottom Lake, and nearby rivers provide calm waters perfect for cruising, fishing, kayaking, and water sports. Boaters are supported by quality facilities including: Bastion Point dual-lane boat ramp Karbeethong and Gipsy Point ramps Jetties, picnic spots, BBQs, and a sewage pump-out station Accommodation at Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park offers waterfront sites ideal for boaters.
